You're speaking to Maheo, the greatest Magician and master of arcane spells. I know magic that even High Wizards can never hope to learn in their lifetimes!
~ Maheo boasting

Maheo is a Magician with a self-centered attitude disguised as modesty. He claims to be much more powerful than even High Wizards and only wears the garb of a Magician because he felt the need to be "humble." He somehow managed to trap himself in magical ice while in the Ice Cave.

Story[]

SPOILER WARNING: Plot and/or ending details follow.

One day, Maheo came up with the idea to eradicate the monsters of Ice Cave for the Raelians, who often go to the cave to collect ice. He first thought was to unleash Meteor Storm upon the cave monsters, as they were of the ice element and would surely be weak to the fire element. His plan subsequently backfired, causing his cloak to be aflame. In his haste to put out the fire, Maheo casts Frost Diver upon himself, which not only put out the fire but encased himself completely in a pillar of ice. Despite being immobilized, Maheo was still able to speak, crying out for help as loud as he could.

Eventually, he attracts the attention of an adventurer who just so happened to be looking for him. He makes a deal with the adventurer that if the adventurer is able to free him of his icy prison, he would polish the special necklace in the adventurer's possession in return. The adventurer quickly starts trying to break open the ice pillar, but no amount of punching or fist hammering could even crack the magical ice. Maheo then remembers his master and implores the adventurer to seek out a man by the name of Hamion, who should know a way to free him.

The adventurer eventually returns with a Wind Hammer forged by his master. With a mighty swing, the hammer smashes Maheo's icy prison to pieces. Now freed, Maheo lays waste to the monsters within the cave with a cast of Meteor Storm in a fit of rage. After his revenge has been fulfilled, he composes himself and polishes the necklace the adventurer had as thanks. Before he bade the adventurer farewell, he pleads the adventurer to not mention a word of his mishap to anyone.[1]
