The Novice is the most basic job class in the Ragnarok universe. All players start out as a Novice in Ragnarok Online and begin their journey in the Training Grounds of an unnamed castle. When an adventurer begins his/her journey, they are most essentially a Novice to the world of Midgard. They are young children eager to learn what life has to offer and are ready to endure whatever challenges come their way.

Background

After wandering without work for the city, the Novice sees an official recruitment notice for adventurers, posted by King Tristan III. The announcement says: "You can do different types of profession, it all depends on you and your commitment". As soon as he sees it the Novice, with a burst of energy and winning over the usual laziness, enters the world of adventure.

Without money, and with only the knife and cotton shirt received by the King with him, he begins his battle against the monsters. The only notable skill of the Recruit is the determination and determination to get a result with each knife stroke.

Races

The Novice class is only available to Normans.

Novices can only equip gear designated as:

• All Classes

Weapons

Novices can equip just about any weapon as long as they meet the level and job class requirements for certain weapons.

Abilities

Novices are the most flexible job class with the ability to learn just about any technique and magic spell available for 1st Class jobs. However, once they've moved on to a 1st Class job, they lose this skill flexibility.
