Description[edit | edit source]
Legend has it that 1,000 years ago, the world was destroyed during Ragnarök... but the ancient gods did not fall as prophesized. Now Ragnarök is set to happen again and gods, men, and demons vie for the power to rule the next millennium. The goddess Freyja, leader of the fearsome Valkyries, is one such contender. Even now, her agents scour the Midgard realm in search of new sources of power.
Chaos never asked to be normankind's defender, but with the second Ragnarök growing near, he may be normankind's last best hope. Joined by the Assassin Loki, Chaos must stop the necromancer Himmelmez from destroying the capital city of Prontera. Fighting an ever-growing army of faceless zombies is hard enough, but when Himmelmez uses Chaos' undead best friend to attack him, the Rune Knight is unable to fight back. Things become further complicated with the reappearance of the rogue Valkyrie Sarah Irine, who works for Freyja but seems to have an agenda of her own. The seeds of betrayal are being sown...
