Reidin Kurs is a cocky Hunter who helps train newcomers from the Archer Association near Payon. A member of the Archer guild Icarus, Reidin has new Archers refer to him as Chief as he doesn't like to be bossed around by Master Kavaruk.[1] He'll sometimes trick people into joining the guild by paying 1,000,000 Zeny and claiming that he's the guildmaster. Of course, his fellow Hunter Arpesto is quick to tell people of Reidin's lies, which upsets Reidin.
On iRO, this character is localized as Reidin Corse. On iRO2, this character's name is misspelled as Reidin Kerse.
Story[]

Reidin encounters an Archer in-training that was sent to him by Master Kavaruk. He begins teaching the Archer about Archer basics and then sends the Archer to Morocc for further training to enhance their Owl's Eye ability. The Archer comes back with enhanced eyes and Reidin sends the Archer to Geffen, this time to enhance their Vulture's Eye skill.
After the Archer returns from that mission, Reidin sends him/her on a special quest as part of their midterm: hunting Rockers in Prontera. After completing the task, the Hunter proceeds to reward the Archer with a Great Bow and begins teaching them about Improve Concentration. For the Archer's final exam, Reidin sends him/her to the Payon Forest to hunt Spores and Worm Tails. He mentions an Acolyte friend name Mafra who will help the Archer there.
Reidin is pleased to see the Archer return in one piece and notes that the Archer looks more like a veteran than a newbie now. He then sends the Archer back to Master Kavaruk since he no longer has anything else to teach the Archer.[2]
Some time later, Reidin overhears fellow Hunter Arpesto boasting to a Hunter about how he came up with a powerful skill after fighting Medusas. He points out to the Hunter that Arpesto actually came up with the skill while he was bored. Arpesto proceeds to request certain items from the Hunter in exchange for learning the skill and Reidin wonders why the old man would have need of 30 Pet Foods. He is skeptical of the old man responding that the food is to feed his falcon.
Once the Hunter returns with the items in hand, Arpesto teaches the Hunter how to perform the skill and asks the Hunter to test out the skill. The Hunter accidentally aims his/her arrow at Arpesto, causing Reidin to call out Arpesto's name just as the arrow grazes him. The old man passes out, inciting Reidin to mock him for being so dramatic over not getting seriously injured. He assures the Hunter that Arpesto is allright and that he will take care of him.[3]
300 years into the future, Reidin is reborn and becomes a Master class hunter of the Hunter Union.[4] He has issues with a huntress name Joy Rowell who enjoys hunting for leisure and profit, something that he is very much against. He sends an adventurer to her, hoping that he/she could convince Joy to see things his way. The venture fails, so Reidin gives up on the huntress.[5][6]
Reidin later hears of a large number of bugs emerging from the Scar of Despair and heads out for the Peak of Dawn. Before he goes, he hands the adventurer some Herb Stash to deliver to Chief Kei of Fountain Town.[7]
