Alexander Digotz is a rich young man who lives in the residential district of Lighthalzen. He has a kind personality, but finds the rich to be very stuck-up and self-centered. He's more than willing to direct visitors toward the slums for more interesting activities as he finds the Lighthalzen districts very boring.
He was once friends with another young man name Maku, but the two of them have fallen apart for some reason. According to Digotz, he bought the both of them lunch on a few occassions (due to Maku being poor). Maku once fixed Digotz on a blind date (that was apparently the worst date Digotz has ever been on) and can beat Digotz at arm wrestling.

The adventurer comes across Digotz in the Rekenber Hotel in Lighthalzen. He mentions his former friend, Maku, whom the adventurer had met in the slums earlier. When the adventurer relays a message from Maku, Digotz flies into a rage and sends a message back with the adventurer.
When the adventurer returns, Digotz talks about how a friend of theirs by the name of Benkaistein was always able to sort things out between Digotz and Maku. He notes that if Benkaistein wasn't busy studying right now, he'd be able to fix things. Hearing this, the adventurer heads off for Juno's library.
The adventurer returns yet again to Digotz, this time with a book that happens to be Benkaistein's diary. Digotz reads through it and realizes that he really misses his dear friend Maku and wishes to see him again. He asks the adventurer to send a message while he goes off to find some suitable slum-worthy street clothes to prepare for the reunion.
Once the adventurer left, a Lighthalzen security guard by the name of Katinshuell sneaks in and stabs Digotz. He then takes off, his knife still embedded in Digotz's body. The adventurer arrives some time later to discover Digotz slowly bleeding to death. The adventurer tries to save Digotz, but it was too late for him. He dies regretfully, learning too late the true meaning of friendship.[1]
