Daily Login Rewards is a system that encourages players to log in on a daily basis to earn free items. Many MMORPGs utilize such a system to maintain a steady stream of player traffic to their game. As such, better items are typically earned when players maintain consistent attendance for a week or a month. Ragnarok Online II was launched with a daily reward system while Ragnarok Online didn't begin development on its own daily reward system until 2018, roughly sixteen years after it launched.
Ragnarok Online II
RO2's daily login system initially started out as a weekly system, resetting after players have logged in for 5 days straight. The system was eventually expanded to encourage players to log in for 28 days straight before resetting.
RO2's original daily login rewards resets on a weekly basis.
RO2's expanded daily login now resets on a monthly basis.
Ragnarok Online
RO's daily login system was originally developed to encourage players to log in for 20 days straight, about a week less than RO2's monthly system.
RO's daily login rewards resets after about three weeks.
