Level Up! Games, publisher of the Philippines Ragnarok Online servers, recently announced that they will be shutting down.
Source: pRO Website Suspicions had already arose when it was revealed that Level Up! Games refused to open their own pRO2 server, which in turn caused iRO2 to open to the Philippines region. With the recent news, Philippines players have the option to transfer over to iRO. CM Oda of iRO confirmed that pRO accounts that opt in to the transfer will be transferred to a new server in iRO instead of merging with the existing Renewal server. Already players are apprehensive of the transfers considering what happened when seaRO2 accounts were transferred to iRO2. Items that were stated to not be transferred over (such as botted and duped items as well as items that do not exist on iRO2) were still transferred over regardless. So far, iRO is not repeating iRO2's mistakes by opening a new server for the transfers, but players are still concerned since the new server can still be merged into Renewal Chaos server.
