General Karl Johann Spiegel is the commanding officer of the Knights of Prontera. He is a good-natured knight who knows when to get serious.
Story[]
When the Dark Whisper fortress approached Prontera, a frantic Knight ran to seek out Spiegel to report the sighting. He crashes into a helmed knight carrying trays of food and is quick to insult the knight, even though he was the one who crashed into him. The knight turned out to be General Spiegel himself, who sarcastically remarks that he had no idea how the crash could've happened.
After composing himself properly, Spiegel goes to confirm the sighting of the flying fortress and watches in horror as hordes of undead came pouring out of the fortress. He eventually requests the help of Fenris and Iris and reveals to them the Heart of Ymir.[1] He was critically wounded by the witch Bijou, but was stabilized by Iris in time.[2]
He later escorts Chaos, Loki, Iris, and Fenris to an airship and suggests they seek out a sage by the name of Kadmon in Juno.[3]
