Maria Splodofska is a Wizard that helps Magician candidates get promoted to Wizards in the Geffen Tower. An unfortunate magic experiment left her in the form of a white dog with glasses. She gets agitated when stared at oddly.[1] She also has no patience for non-Magicians that find their way up the tower.

Maria was helping her boyfriend carry out an experiment for his Magic Degree and the project resulted in chemicals that changed Maria from a Norman to a dog. Maria theorizes that the chemicals should wear off in a couple of months, but she is unsure of exactly when she'll regain Norman form again. Unfortunately, the change affects fellow Wizard Laurel Asparagus by causing his allergies to act up, which Maria is fully aware of. Despite that, Maria continues to aid new Magicians in becoming Wizards.[2]
